St.Patrick's Day Event~ Gold Rush RPG

[Marsh]

"Sorry guys!" woofed Arrietty before bounding to the rest of the group "What are we talking about again?" she asked cocking her head to the side.

[Lizy]

(oh meh I missed 4 pages)

Chewwy began to run to the others, she didn't wake up on time.
"Guys, " she barked, "what did I miss?'

[Marsh]

"Not much really, just cookies, Want one?" she asked offering a cookie to Chewwy.

[Brownie]

"Yeah, let's go to the river!" Yipped Eileen, and she ran to the river neerly pushing Leofric out of the way. "Sorry 'bout that!" She said to him, still in a rush. Sammy went out of the little hole she and the snakes were in and followed Eileen to make sure she didn't end up tripping on a rock. "Wait up, Eileen! Some pupsss aren't as fassst as you." She said in an impatient and excited voice.

[Horsie]

"Ooh, the river sounds good! I'm a little sticky from eating my cookies..." Diosca looked sadly down at her paws, which were admittedly very sticky.
She bounded ahead of the other pups to see if she could catch sight of the river. "Hey guys!" she barked, "I think I can see it up ahead!"

[TLOSpyrogirl]

Bianca, who was about to ask excitedly if "it wassss a moussse", noticed Sammy and the others leaving. "Ssshoot," Bianca said, retreating from the hole as well and slithering off after Shep, who was now running quickly to catch up with the others after becoming too absorbed in his cookies.

[Brownie]

"Maybe we'll catch it nexxxt time, Bianca." Said Sammy, also a little annoyed about not catching the mouse.

"We're running short on our cookie supply!" Said Eileen, digging her paws into the sack. Though she quickly forgot about this when she too had spotted the river, and started to walk (She was feeling more patient) towards it.

[Adah]

Feather eagerly trotted toward the river, hurrying to keep up with the others.

[Horsie]

As soon as some of the other pups had caught up with her, Diosca ran ahead again until she was the river, sparkling and crystal clear. Eagerly she jumped into the cool water to wash her sticky paws.

[Brownie]

"Wait for me!" Said Eileen, and she plunged into the pool. "I wish I wasss a water sssnake." Said Sammy as she watched Eileen swim. "They can go into the water and on land." Hearing this, Eileen got out of the river and shook herself dry, drenching Sam.

"Come on my back, if you can't swim." Eileen offered to her. "Oh, no thanksss. We need to hurry, if we want to get to the end of the rainbow." Sammy grinned. "Just for a couple of minutes?" Eileen insisted. Sammy thought for a little while and when he decided said, "Fine, but jussst for a few minutesss." So Eileen brought him to the river while they were waiting for the others to catch up.

Sammy's wet and scaly coat shone like diamonds in the reflection of the sun, and Eileen's long green and orange coat sagged with the weight of the water. They were having a great time indeed, for the water wasn't as cold as they expected it to be when they first saw it. "Come on in!" Said Eileen when the others were nearer.

[Horsie]

Diosca did a quick doggy-paddle, and smiled as she felt the sun come out and warm the fur on her back. But then she frowned; noticing that the sun was lower in the sky.
"We shouldn't stay here for too long guys; we have to find the rainbow before it gets dark!"

[Adah]

Feather dove into the water, closing her eyes as she swam.
Rolling over on her back, she soaked up the sun beams, floating along.
Suddenly, Diosca's voice brought her out of her daydream, and she rolled over, swallowing a mouthful of river water.
Sputtering, she swam to riverside and nodded "We need to keep moving!"

[Marsh]

Arrietty agreed after a quick dip in the river. "If it does get dark we'll have no hope of getting to it before it fades away, afterall with no sunlight there can't possibly be a rainbow?" As she said this, she was shaking herself of and rolling around in the beautiful, green grass. After rolling around for a bit, she looked around for daisies, picked them out of the ground and wove herself a chain which she placed on her head and went on to ask: "Daisy chains anyone?"

[Adah]

Feather shook her head"Thanks Arrietty, but I'll pass."
She jumped around, and called out"Come on guys, we need to keep moving!"

[Marsh]

"Okay, but everyone, as Feather says: we really must get moving!"

[DarkTamara]

Kaegan finally managed to catch up with the others; he had been behind them most of the day after he had lost track of time baking. He was going too fast, though, and wasn't able to stop in time to avoid the water--instead, he did an accidental face-first cannonball into the river. "Hey guys!" he barked, popping up, but his voice was muffled from the unfortunate fish that had ended up flopping from his mouth. He opened his jaws and dropped it before adding, "Sorry I'm late."

[TLOSpyrogirl]

Shep, who had been lagging a bit to be sure Bianca wasn't left behind, saw the others jumping into the river. Grinning, he dashed forward and hopped into the cool river. Waves of water rose up under his thick frame as he went other, splashing everybody else in the vicinity, including a now-disgruntled Bianca who, with a disdainful hiss, slithered away from the river's edge.

"Sorry, Bianca," Shep laughed as he emerged from the water, his thick fur coat nearly dragging him back down like an anchor. Paddling towards the shore, he shook himself off, happy for the refreshing break.

Ignoring Shep, Bianca said, "Greetingssss, Keagan." with a smile on her small white face.

[Adah]

"Hey Keagan!" Feather smiled, happy to see another pup join the adventure.

[Marsh]

"Well done for catching up you Kaegan and Shep although we really must hurry, It is almost sundown!" she greeted the pups

[Adah]

Feather nodded at Arrietty's statement"We really need to keep moving. Onward!" She cheered and started trotting along.

[Marsh]

Arrietty looked back at the rest of the group splashing around before following Feather "They'll catch up! I hope..." she added the last comment to herself

(Sorry, not now, I need to at least mostly concentrate on my math. )

Shep, still a bit damp from the water, walked behind Arrietty and Feather, albeit at a slower pace because of his heavy black and white fur. Eyeing the clouds in the distance and the sun sinking towards the horizon, he asked "How much longer until we reach the rainbow's end. We have to be almost there."

He stared at the colourful stripes in the sky, but the rainbow seemed to fade away from his view whenever he tried to focus on it. Trick of the light, I guess. thought Shep.

[Marsh]

"What's up Shep?" Arrietty asked kindly noticing him make wierd faces.

[Adah]

Feather also glanced back, and couldn't resist a laugh at Shep's appearance as he looked at the rainbow."Sorry" She barked, apologizing for laughing. Then Feather also glanced at the rainbow. She suddenly started running, determined to reach the rainbow before they had to be back at camp.

[Marsh]

"Feather! Wait! Not everyone's ready yet!"
