St.Patrick's Day Event~ Gold Rush RPG

[Brownie]

"Yesss, let's do that. I think we've wasssted enough time by now." Sam said with a smile. "Yay!" Eileen yipped with glee, and she went on walking.

[Lindz]

River- He loves the Rain and enjoy running around in it. He loves people just as much. He runs around you if you let him. His name is perificet for him for he acts and looks like a river. He was born in 2011. He sweet.

[M&M]

It was obvious everyone wanted to go right, whether or not that was the right direction, Misty didn’t really care, she just wanted to start. “Ok everyone!” She yipped, “Right it is!” And with an excited bark, she ran off to the right, towards a rather thick looking forest.

Patrick nodded, “Alright then, let’s go! Stay close everyone!” He said, beckoning all the other pups to follow him and Misty. Jack, George, Betsy, Xavier and Jeff all hissed excitedly as they slithered across the meadow.

[Lindz]

River: "I plan to follow everyone but more toward the river. I feel that if we go toward the river we may spot the rainbow. What do you say."

[M&M]

(Lindz, you need to tell us who is talking! Put what your puppy says in between quotation marks ("Like this.") so that we are not confused, thanks! :3

And just as a note, everyone is already heading right. :3)

Shep, always the quiet onlooker, had thus far said nothing. But now he allowed a joyful, "Woo hoo!" to escape his maw and bounded gleefully off after the others. Reminding himself not to just sprint right past the other puppies, he slowed to a quick jog. The fast Bianca had little trouble keeping up with her friend and happily slithered beside him as he followed Misty and the others as they ran towards the forest.

"Sssstay near the pack if you can, River," Bianca advised, stopping her slithering to look back at the speckled blue pup. "It's sssafer." With that, she continued on after Shep.

[Lindz]

River came running once his buddy Shep little friend Bianca. He caught up and "Thank Bianca for her advice.". River came up and started barking towards Shep.

[Brownie]

Eileen frowned for she new that it would be hard to see the rainbow in woods so thick. "Ok!" She said to Misty as Sammy slithered up a tree. "I hope thisss forest isn't as thick as it looksss." Sammy said, getting down from the tree again. "A pup could easssily get losst."

Eileen stopped and pricked her ears up. "Do I smell something? I sure hope it's a deer, because I'm hungry. Hey Misty, where are the cookies you spoke of when we started this adventure?" She said. "Eileen, your stomach sounds jussst like Kfira when ssshe's in a bad mood!" Sammy said with a laugh.

[Lindz]

River: "River hear Eileen and wonder if she want a ride though the woods. River hears the "river" to his left as well. He looks ups to see glimpse of colors that may be from the rainbow." "Misty what kind of cookies you got please maybe it time for a snack."

[TLOSpyrogirl]

"Hmm?" Shep stopped his jog and spotted River. He cracked a smile at his antics and asked with a laugh, "Why are you barking at me?" Shep laughed again realizing that River had already forgotten him and moved on.

"I could go for a niccce moussssse right now," Bianca hissed to herself, her tongue flicking out as she surveyed the area for a stray wood mouse or two. "But I do like cookiesss."

[M&M]

Patrick stopped his running to catch is breath, and during this time turned around to check on everyone else, he didn't want anyone to get lost. Everyone seemed to be keeping up well, so he smiled and turned back to Misty, who had also stopped. Her peachy orange ears were perked forwards, listening as she sniffed what Eileen also smelled.
Misty giggled at Sammy's comment, stopping her sniffing to reply to Eileen. "She does! It's only been a few minutes, but it's never too early for cookies! They are in my little bag Eileen." She said, reaching over her shoulder to remove a little bag from her stormy grey back. She threw it over and it landed on the leafy forest ground with a soft thud.

Patrick, however, was still concentrated on the scent in the air. "Hm...maybe it is a deer, but I don't think we could catch it even if it was! And ok, I'm up for cookies." He said.

The snakes slithered up to the bag, licking whatever was inside it. "This smellsss good! I love food!" Jack hisses with a fanged grin.

"I would like a moussse asss well, would you like to sssearch for one with me Bianca, while the pups have a sssnack?" George hissed, his orange head still in the bag.

[Lindz]

River: "Let stop to see what kind of cookies are in the bag." What about you "Shep" and "Eileen." "Maybe we just stop to see if anyone else is with us or see if anyone is lagging a bit."

[Adah]

Feather jumped around. A snack sounded perfectly fabulous to her, as adventuring on an empty stomach simply couldn't be done. She trotted over to the snakes, interested to see what they found.

[Brownie]

"I think I'd be too heavy for you," Eileen said to River. "Thanks for the offer though--hey Sammy, where'd you get those cookies?" While Eileen was talking to River, Sammy had slithered into Misty's leather bag and had gotten some cookies. "Oh, I'm sorry...Did you want some? Misty offered one to you, you know." Sammy said with a grin. "Oh, she did?" Said Eileen, taking a cookie.

[TLOSpyrogirl]

"Are you kidding? I'm starved!" Shep exclaimed, gathering around the bag with everyone else.

"Ssure," Bianca replied with a toothy—or more like fangy—smile, slithering over to George.

[Lindz]

River: "okay Eileen" just asking. Please pass a cookie or two my way would you "Sammy." As he wait for the cookies, River looks up at the sky and calls out to "Patrick, Is though storm clouds or did I see a flash of lighting go across the sky or something green?"

[Shinki]

Leofric sat on his tail and his antennae drooped slightly, his enthusiasm dampened by Arriety's reminder. His Amma was always telling him to have patience, but it was so hard to be patient when he was going on an adventure! He quivered with excitement and tried extra, extra hard not to hurry everyone up as a vote was taken on which direction they should go.

He did not have to wait for long, because everyone thought it was a good idea to go right, which was obviously the correct way to go. The rainbow was brighter on the right side than the left, so that must mean that the treasure was over there. It dove into the thick canopy of the forest like a glittering, multicolored waterfall, and Leofric stared up at it as he trotted after the other puppies. He was not paying attention to where his paws fell, and he almost stepped on one of the snakes slithering between the puppies’ paws.

“Oops!” He stumbled in his effort to avoid the reptile, which hissed and slithered passed him. “Sorry!” He trotted a little faster- a little more careful about his paws this time- to run alongside one of his fellow adventurers.

“What do you think is at the end of the rainbow?” His red tongue lolled out the side of his mouth, images of a giant chest full of treasure or a basket full of the tastiest red berries dancing in his head.

Cookies?

“I want one!” His question forgotten, he skipped over to where Misty and the others gathered around a small satchel. “Can I have one?” He was drooling, and he almost jumped onto Misty before remembering his manners. He sat on his tail and tried his best to be as polite as his Amma taught him. “Please?”

[Lindz]

River: "Leofric", there enough for you. "Patrick" You hear my question about seeing something flash of light though across the sky or was it a storm cloud or possible something that green." "Do we have everyone or are we missing some pups? River was asking anyone that wanted to answer."

[Adah]

Feather reached a paw into the bag, and snagged 2 cookies on her paw. She scarfed them down then turned around to look at the others. "Are we ready?"

[TLOSpyrogirl]

Shep, who had already downed two vanilla chocolate chip cookies, finished his third one and sat back, face wrinkling as he scrunched it up in thought. "I like the idea of just a big pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Conner would like that. Too bad he's feeling a bit sick because of all the chocolate coins he ate last night..." Shep blinked, smiling a bit as he remembered last night's scene. Shep did say that eating twenty chocolate coins probably wasn't a good idea, but Conner wouldn't listen.

"Asssss unlikely as it may be," Bianca hissed, "I hope there'sss a big field at the end with all the miccce you can catch running around."

"That's no fun!" Shep protested. "There are places like that all over the island."

"Sssstill."

[Brownie]

"Of courssse, my fluffy friend!" Said Sammy as he passed a cookie to River. "Yes, a mouse or small chick would be preferable. I'll go look with you, if you don't mind!" Said Sammy, smiling.

Eileen on the other hand was thinking about Leofric's question. What was on the other side of the rainbow? "Maybe it's a pot full of chocolate coins!" Thought Eileen, licking her sugar cookie. She just realized that River was asking a question and said, "Pups missing? Um...I don't think so. Some of the snakes I think are searching for mice, but I know they're nearby--I saw Jeff slithering past me not long ago."

[Lindz]

River: What this he eat his two cookies and looks around at the pups. "Shep" did you see the glimpse of colors of the rainbow though the sky or did is see a flash of lighting or something green going across the sky?" "Thanks Shep."

[TLOSpyrogirl]

Shep turned his muzzle up to the sky, clouds floating lazily across it like drifting boats in the waves of a perfectly blue ocean, and squinted. "Nope, I don't see anything. There's some clouds in the distance, so there might be a storm coming, though. Shouldn't be here for a while."
