(okay so i missed it, I hope my post is going to be okay) Chewwy had been with Diosca all the time, although diosca didn't know it. "BOOH!" Chewwy said, "Hahaha, did I scare you? Sorry." Then she saw what was going on. " A solid rainbow? Really?" The next moment she saw Diosca sliding of the rainbow, "DIOSCA, NOO, " she screamed and in a silly moment she jumped after her. Chewwy forgot that if she would she would also slide down. She was too scared to scream so she closed her eyes. *BOOM* Chewwy had no idea how long she had been sliding, but she landed on...furr..she landed on Diosca. "Oops,"she said, "are you ok?"

(If this is too late then you can delete this, Misty, I just wanted a good closing post. But if it's not okay to post this now then that's fine. xD)
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Di—os—ca! Slow—down!" Shep cried as he jerked back and forth, hanging onto the cloud for dear life as he was practically flung back and forth before finally collapsing as the ride smoothed out.
He remained that way, dizzy, until Diosca stopped next to the rainbow. The perfectly blue sky, mirrored with clouds that floated around them; Diosca touching the rainbow, climbing onto it, and sliding down; it all seemed so surreal.
In a daze Shep too climbed onto the mass of colour. It was solid, yet somehow soft; when he looked at his paws the ever-bright web of beauty seemed to tangle in with he paws, as if he was a part of this truly stunning wonder.
Shep checked to make sure Bianca was wrapped securely around his neck; she was. Her red eyes were bright in anticipation and she gave a tight squeeze. "Go, Ssshep," Bianca seemed to breathe.
Shep complied; standing on the tip of the rainbow, he dropped to his stomach as he would on a funslide and dived nose-first down, pushing himself off. He began slowly sliding down, and despite the fact that the ground was nowhere in sight, the two friends were somehow not afraid. Faster and faster they went, down down down the rainbow; clouds sped past and the ground came rapidly into sight. A bit of fear sprung into Shep as he was nosediving right for it. Finally, he closed his eyes.
And yet he hit nothing. In fact, he came to a slow stop until he could feel the ground below his paws; soft grass met it as he stopped what seemed to be floating and touched the earth. And Shep still refused to open his eyes; Bianca still was buried into his fur. They did not know what was here, what was possibly waiting for them, but they were simply content to be there.
They had done it. It was over; the journey had finished and now only the destination lay before them. Somehow, Shep and Bianca were sad.
But they did not let this tinge of sadness that their adventure had come to a close overwhelm their anticipation. Slowly, Bianca raised her head and Shep opened his eyes.

(OOC-Same with me Crispy. I just wanted to wrap up my thoughts. XD)
Finally, after what seemed to last for hours, the group of aliens reached the top of the mountain, the peaks rising high into the chilly morning sky. Wind ruffled Lynn's fur as he looked out at the landscape, stretch miles and miles into the distance. "This is amazing!" he yowled with delight, savoring all the beauty around him. Looking around, he spotted the sparkly white clouds hanging in the air a meter away. "Woohoo!" Without hesitation, Lynn leaped onto on of the fluffy clouds. It was soft like cotton candy under paw. "I wish I had a bed like this!" he exclaimed, jumping up and down on the stuff. He slowly started steering the cloud by grabbing a tuft of it in the front. This is so cool! he thought to himself as he moved through the sky. Lynn looked upwards at the other clouds hovering above, wondering how the others were getting along with their clouds. Gasping in horror, he watched as Diosca was making a flying leap towards the rainbow. Oh no! She's going to fall! But that wasn't the case at all. Diosca landed neatly on top of the rainbow, yipping with delight. She then started sliding down it like a slide, the other aliens following close behind. "Wait for meee!" Lynn called, excited now, as he steered his cloud up to the rainbow and hopped onto it. It felt smooth and slippery, and for a moment Lynn stood awestruck, gazing down at the millions of beautiful colors and hues that made up the rainbow. Finally he shook his head to clear his daydreaming. We need to finish this journey! Anticipation welled up inside of him as the pup started skidding down the rainbow, picking up speed as he headed farther down after his stroodles. It felt as though he was going hundreds of miles per hour, the force of the wind almost knocking him off his paws. Within no time, he finally saw the end; soft grass surrounding the rainbow where it shot into the earth. Coming to a complete stop and hopping to the ground next to the other pups, he suddenly realized that all of them were quiet, gazing across the field in which they all stood. "Uhh.... what are you all looking at?" following their gaze, Lynn gasped in amazement at what lay in front of them. The treasure......
OOC- wait a second..... why is Misty Crispy??? XD

Scared that she would fall, Eileen strapped herself with the cloud, since it had the properties of snow so you could shape things. Sammy, however, was doing what she could to make a cloud snake with just her tail. She was much more used to heights than Eileen, since she climbed trees all the time, especially tall ones.
Suddenly they came to a stop.
"Good thing I have my seat belt on--" Eileen started, but was speachless when she saw the colored bow right in front of her. "Well, this is it, Sammy." she said, excited. She remembered when they just started the adventure. Turning pale though no one could see, she puffed out her chest. "Ready?"
"Asss ready asss I shall ever be." Sammy hissed, rapping herself around Eileen's waist tight enough to still allow Eileen to breath. Eileen nodded, then jumped onto the rainbow.
"Ah!!" she screamed, trying to stable herself so that she wouldn't fall of. But she ended up smiling. It was like sliding on a ribbon, and I can't describe it anymore than that. You'd have to see it for yourself.
As she slided down, now laughing a bit, she came to a sudden stop. "Sammy, come out!" Eileen yipped. Sammy slithered down Eileen's leg. "If we dare look at the end, this means that our journey has ended, you know..." Eileen whimpered slightly. It was the best one she had ever had.
"Well, don't we have a tale to tell when we go back!" Sammy hissed happily. "But it still needsss an ending, so we have to look. And for Easter, we should go searching for the Easter bunny!" Eileen smiled. Then, filled with anticipation, she looked and saw the very end of the rainbow.

(OOC: Ah, sorry I haven't posted in forever, and I missed a lot. If I can, I would like to post the end of Leofric's part of the journey when I can grab a few spare moments to type something. I've been reading along though, and it's a great story. Just FYI, cockatrices are based on actual myths. They are typically depicted as roosters with the tail of a snake, and spread death and disease wherever they go. They don't turn people into stone, but they create deserts, and simply looking at one brings death.)

River had finally arrived with the cloud he was riding on. He came to a sudden stop. "What am I to do. Then he decide to slide on down the to see if there was good landing spot. Has he did this, he bark happily."
When he go to the landing. River said "that was fun, I want to do it again." Then he saw the end of the rainbow and was stunned at what he seen.

From the moment she and Patrick had first laid eyes on the colorful ribbon that shot through the sky, Misty had been determined to see what was at the end. Even before then, when Heather would tell her stories about St. Patrick and the legends of Leprechauns and gold that lay at the rainbow’s tail, Misty’s curious mind would spark with ideas of what might really lie at the end. Her curiosity would not be satisfied until she had her adventure.
Now, after crossing rivers, chasing mysterious golden paths, riding clouds and making friends with legendary creatures, Misty was one step away from discovering the truth. She stole a glance towards Patrick, whose mismatched eyes were fixed on the road of colorful hues that dipped down like a slide through the clouds and down to the valley below. Looking away from her friend and back towards the rainbow Misty gasped, her eyes the widest they had been, yet she couldn’t jump. It was as if her paws where stuck on the cotton candy of the shimmering cloud they had ridden on not moments before. Riding on the cloud wasn’t so bad, she laughed like any happy child living the grandest adventure ever would, but upon reaching her destination, the fact that the adventure was almost over stopped her. What if nothing was at the end? What if she woke up, and this was all just a dream? What if-
“Misty?”
Misty blinked, turned to the owner of the voice and grinned. “Yeah Patrick?”
Patrick cocked his head, watching all of the other pups jump onto the ribbon of light and disappear down below. “What do you think lies at the end, huh?”
“I think,” Came a deeper, older voice from behind Patrick, “A mountain of cheese. Imagine cheddar, swiss, pepper jack, parmesan, all the cheeses you can think of lying in an epic pile at the end!” Barked Chaeser, his tongue lolling out of his mouth and his eyes wide with both excitement and hunger. With one puppy-like yip, he took a step forward and hopped onto the rainbow, disappearing like the rest of the pups with a joyous howl.
Misty giggled, “I dunno Patrick. What do you think?”
“I think…”
“I want to sssay there liesss a wondrousss meadow, filled with miccce and buniesss and flowersss and treesss.” Put in one of the snakes. A black and white head popped out from the white of the cloud, and Betsy’s little black eyes twinkled as she, along with the rest of the snakes, slithered onto the rainbow and slid down with an excited hiss.
Misty giggled again, and so did Patrick. “I don’t know Misty, but I’ve got a feeling I’m going to love it!”
“But…what if it’s nothing?” Misty woofed before she could stop herself. She took a step back and stared at the clouds.
Patrick grinned, “Misty, you of all pups should know, adventure is worthwhile in itself. You don’t need a reward at the end to get something from it, the reward comes from the experience…Woah hey, I sound old."
And with that and a shake of his head, Patrick yipped happily and jumped off of the cloud and after the snakes and Chaeser and the rest of the puppies. It was only Misty now, watching the sky below as she blinked quietly for a few moments. Finally, she giggled to herself and said, “Patrick’s right, I should know that.”
So, taking a little breath that got caught in her throat, she put one large white paw forward and stepped off the cloud, onto the colorful slide that smelled of fruit salad and shimmered with the brightest, most beautiful hues Misty had ever laid eyes on.
Misty found herself squealing with the excitement of a hundred sugar rushes as the mist tickled her fur and the wind blew passed her tangy ears. It wasn’t long until the slide dipped down and faded to a stop. Misty squeaked and put her paws out, squeezing her eyes shut to brace herself for a rough landing, but it never came. Instead, she opened her eyes and gasped.
Standing amongst the other puppies and snakes and Chaeser Misty stared, sparkly eyed, at the most beautiful meadow she could have ever imagined. The mountains around the group dipped down into a little haven that housed the greenest of grasses and the tallest of pine. A lake of the clearest blue sparkled and shone like a diamond at the base of the second mountain, and all around the puppies where flowers as bright as the rainbow, and creatures hopping and buzzing around as if the meadow was an eternal spring.
At first, no one saw anything that depicted what the end of the rainbow led to, until at last, Jack the snake hissed excitedly and said, “Guysss, check it out!” He pointed a black-tipped tail at something gold and sparkly that stained the tips of the grass.
“It’s the path!” Patrick gasped, stepping back from it, as he was the closest next to Jack. Misty on the other hand, stepped towards it, her nose to the ground and a curious smile on her stormy grey face. She giggled lightly and turned to the other pups, “Guys…I think we should follow it again.”
“But-“ Patrick started.
“Hey, what’sss that over there?” Said another snake, this time, it was George. He gestured with an orange head a bit of a ways to the right of the group, behind a little copse of flower bushes and young conifer. The path trickled down towards it, shimmering in the light of the morning sun and disappearing into the thicket, where a strange, bright light shone through the branches.
“It’s the end of the rainbow!” Misty yipped, and without any hesitation, made a mad dash towards the light that beamed through the bush. Her mind raced the rapid beating of her heart as the end drew nearer. She didn’t know what was at the end; gold, cookies, cheese even? But whatever it was, she was too excited to think about it much.
She was so excited, she didn’t noticed that someone else was running towards the light as well. At least, until at last the two met and rammed into each other, sending both backwards into the soft grass that softened their fall.
“Oof!” Misty woofed, rolling over and rubbing her head.
“Misty, are you ok?!” Chaeser barked, running over along with the other puppies.
Misty nodded in reply and smiled meekly, “Yeah, but who did I run into?”
“Ow!” A strange voice cut the short silence, a voice none of the others had heard before. It was small, but husky, and as the owner of it rose up into view from the tall grass, everyone gasped in surprise. He was a wolf puppy!
Misty’s eyes widened and her tail began to wag like a flag in a storm. She had never seen him before. “Hiya! I’m sorry I bumped you, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” But as the wolf padded closer to the group, Misty realized he wasn’t just any wolf; his snout was covered in long fur, and his tail was thin and his fur was grey and scruffy.
“Oh…hello. That’s ok, I should have been more careful too. The name’s Scruffy!” The puppy woofed, his tail wagging slightly as he introduced himself to everyone.
“Ssso, what brings a funny looking wolf like you here?” Said Jeff. Betsy scolded him quietly for being a little rude, but Scruffy didn’t seem to mind the comment.
“I’m a mutant wolf! And I came with my friend Marigold to find out what’s at the end of the rainbow! Speaking of Marigold, have you guys seen a green wolf flying around?” The wolf pup said, scanning the meadow curiously.
Misty gasped, “Would your friend be the green thing River kept spotting?” After a nod from Scruffy, Misty giggled and said again, “We haven’t seen her since yesterday. We didn’t know she was a wolf, we thought River was just seeing things!”
Scruffy laughed and sat down in the grass, shaking off the gold liquid that had gotten in his fur. He shook his floppy ears violently until finally he stopped and said, “That’s her. We were racing each other, and I lost track of her last night after the little earthquake. I’m a little worried.” The pup said, looking over his shoulder with a little frown.
“Don’t be, I’m right here!” Called out a voice with the delicacy of a flower. Scruffy jumped and looked behind him, grinning in relief at the sight of a beautiful green puppy. She giggled and waved, flapping her golden butterfly wings and shaking the set of antenna that crowned her grassy green head. “I was looking for you, too!”
Misty blinked, staring at the new pup with wide orange eyes and an excited grin. “Two puppies I’ve never seen before? And Mutants what’s more! This is aweshome!” She said, too hyper to hear the pup introduce herself as Marigold. She scanned the meadow for more strangers until her eyes rested on the light that shone from the bushes. Suddenly, she remembered how eager she was to find out what the light came from, and she stood up in a flash and yipped, “Hey, we should race each other to see what’s at the end!” Misty laughed and barked, “Come on, last one there’s a bowl of pupcorn!”
For a moment, everyone was quiet as they exchanged glances and stood up, watching Misty cut through the grass. Then, as if the starting gun was shot, they barked and dashed across the meadow, following Misty.
The puppies, snakes and Chaeser all raced each other towards the brush. It took longer than expected, but finally they reached the copse of thick bushes and wriggled their way through them. Chaeser, being the biggest, found it a little challenging, and ended up being the hypothetical bowl of pupcorn.
Misty nearly fell backwards from the site of the glow. In front of their eyes was the brightest gold they had ever seen, it sparkled and shined like a thousand little stars inside a large black pot. That wasn’t what made the puppies gasp, though, as right next to the pot was a gold statue in the shape of a wolf puppy.
“What an amazing gold statue!” Misty yipped, stepping forward. She ignored the liquid gold that seemed to drip from the tail of it. That is, until she touched the statue and it laughed.
"Hey, that tickles!"
Misty, surprised, squeaked and stumbled backwards, but that only made the statue laugh harder.
“I’m not a statue!” The ‘statue’ yipped. Then, with a wag of his tail he turned away from the pot and faced the puppies, grinning. “I’m Euros!” He said, shaking himself. Flecks of gold liquid scattered the grass around him.
“Wha-“ Chaeser muttered, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Let me explain.” Euros said, trotting towards the puppies with a smile. “Every St. Patrick’s day I guard the treasure at the end of the rainbow, I also lead adventurers in the right direction with my paint, see?” He said, and took a few steps back, leaving a little trickle of sparkling paint at every pawstep. “It’s a bit like shedding, I can’t help it! But anyway, I guard the treasure from wolves and creatures who want to use it for silly things.”
“But Euros, us puppies don’t have much of a use for gold.” Patrick said, cocking his head curiously.
Euros smiled impishly, “I know! But these are not normal coins, here, take one.” The golden puppy turned around and took a coin in his mouth, tossing it towards Patrick with a nod. “Pick it up!”
Patrick swallowed timidly, staring at the gold coin for a moment before sighing, stepping forward and picking it up with his teeth. Suddenly, the coin started to flake and dissolve into dust, Patrick dropped the coin in surprise and everyone stared in awe at what now lay beneath his nose; a perfect slice of strawberry cake!
“No way!” Patrick barked, “I’ve been craving strawberry cake all week!”
Misty’s eyes grew so wide they might have popped out of their sockets. Euros laughed at the puppies’ faces and said, “Yup! The coins transform into whatever you’re craving, specifically food.” The puppy grinned as he gave coins to all the puppies, each flaking away and revealing various different types of foods. Misty, of course, got cookies, and Chaeser squeaked when he saw his coin turn into a block of cheese the size of his paw.
“This is aweshome!” Misty barked, gazing in awe at the cookie in front of her.
Euros nodded, sitting down, “Yeah. But it doesn’t always give food, which is why I have to guard it during St. Patrick’s day.”
“Wow, you think we could take some home?” Patrick yipped, licking cake crumbs off his muzzle.
The golden puppy shook his head, “Sorry, the coins don’t last forever. In a few hours they’ll disappear, and I’ll have to go home.”
“Oh.” Was all Patrick replied.
It was only early afternoon. The rainbow still beamed it’s bright rays across the beautiful meadow as the puppies, not yet eager to return from their adventure, spread out across the meadow and began to play. They played tag, they raced, they swam in the sparkling blue river and they shared stories of their trip with Marigold, Scruffy and Euros. The three strangers didn’t stay strangers for long, as they eagerly told everyone about who they were and where they lived, which was nowhere exactly. Misty eagerly invited them to find an owner back where she lived, and the puppies excitedly agreed.
It seemed the meadow was not only an ever-spring safe haven, it was also a place where time seemed to stop. Misty had never been to a more mystical and fascinating place, in fact, she began to wonder if it even was a place. Maybe they had entered a whole new world without even realizing? Poocas and Elves and Cockatrices didn’t exist in Lunaryk, and upon realizing that fact, Misty grew even more excited, so excited that at last, when the sun finally began to set and the rainbow began to fade, her excitement drew to a sudden end. One yawn came after another, and finally they all curled up beneath the shade of the pine branches and slept.
As the last eyes closed, Misty smiled to herself, scanning their now very large group of wolves and snakes with eyes twinkling with excitement. Their tummies where satisfied, they had made three new friends, and what’s more, they had discovered what truly lied at the end of the rainbow. This rainbow, at least.
(Whew, looong post. Hope you guys enjoyed the RP, I sure did! And thanks tons for all your creativity and ideas, the puppies where inspired by you guys, you know. ;3 Check out the first post for the puppies and the winners!)
