St.Patrick's Day Event~ Gold Rush RPG

River: "They look like something and dark is looming." "Thanks Shep." I may be see thing or I saw something but it was fast.

[Brownie]

Eileen gave a sudden shudder when she heard the words "storm" and "lightening". "You--you mean there's a storm coming?!" She squeaked, zooming past the others before she could finish her fifth or fourth cookie. "Hurry!" She said in panic.

"Eileen, calm down or you might ssstep on me again! We ssstill have plenty of time, and there is no to worry. Otherwise you might crash into a tree like you did lassst year when you were chasing that squirrel. It might've been a deer, though." Remembering the time she crashed into the the tree, she sat down and finished her cookie. "You're probably right." She said, taking a bite.

George smiled, and went off with Bianca towards a rather interesting little hole by a rock. It was more than likely something would be in there, whether it was a mouse or not, George was about to find out. “Of courssse I don’t mind! Let’sss see what we will find!” He replied to Sammy, beckoning the snakes over to the tiny hole.

Betsy looked up at Feather with a grin, but Jack, Xavier and Jeff were too busy eating the cookie crumbs that fell from Patrick’s messy eating. The black and white snake looked back at the boys and gasped, “Not ssso messy pleassse!” She hissed, her tongue flicking distastefully.

Patrick looked up from his cookie. “Hm? What was that River? Oh!” His eyes widened as they looked up at the sky. “I hope those clouds pass! It would be terrible if it rained again, but Shep is right, I don’t think it will be here for some time still.”

Misty nodded in agreement, but was too busy to reply, she was eating cookies, after all. She giggled slightly when she saw Leofrick, “Of course you can! But be sure to save some you guys!” She looked at Adah, cookie crumbs dotting her white snout. “Hm, I dunno. Maybe in a few minutes!”

“We had better leave soon though; I can’t wait to see what lies at the end! Cookies would be great, and chocolate coins would be awesome, but personally, I’ve always liked the thought of a pot full of jelly beans!” Patrick said, grinning as he munched on another chocolate fudge cookie.

[Lindz]

River: "Eileen, I am sorry if scared you." Though I was something and it looked like somethng green but I did hear and see something in the sky that look like a flash. Though maybe we should ask "Misty" or "Patrick" to see what is up.

[M&M]

(OOC: Lindz, please no double posting. ;3 Wait for the others to catch up!)

[Brownie]

"Oh, it's ok...I suppose I was just over reacting." She said with a giggle. "But yes, we do need to leave the woods before the storm comes, if it is a storm."

In the meantime Sammy went back with the snakes after calming Eileen down. "Found sssomething?" She said to George, chasing after him. Though cookies were great, she wanted a proper meal for a snake like him.

River: "What your find Sammy." "Does anyone want to head towards the cave and look for a clue."

[TLOSpyrogirl]

"I hope a storm does come, at least after we find what's at the end of the rainbow. Maybe there'll be two rainbows!" Shep exclaimed, eyes lighting up at the idea as he began to munch on an M&M cookie. "Patrick's right, though, we have to get going if we want to finish this adventure before dinner. Mmm... We're going to have steak tonight. My favourite."

While Shep was drooling at the idea of a steak,Bianca turned to Sammy. "We found a hole in the ground; there might be sssomething inssside it."

[Lindz]

River: "Shep" are you always think of food. For you remind me of my little bro Blaze." "Anyway are we ready to move to see what at the end of the rainbow and get back the adventure."

[Brownie]

Eileen replied to River, still a little dreamy about jelly beans and chocolate coins. "A cave? I'm not sure how much time we have to explore, though...Next time I come back here though, I might check it out!" She said in her melodic tone of voice.

"Wow, two rainbows!" Eileen said to herself. "We probably should move on soon, before the rainbow disappears."

"Very interesssting!" Said Sam, creeping into the hole. "We'd better be quick in here, becaussse we're leaving very sssoon."

[Lindz]

River: goes running towards the caves and enters. Once he get in he starts to to explore the cave. He get to point and hit something hard but also feels a sharp turn and feel something like a leaver. "Shep, come look at what might have found." "Eileen, where you slither off too now." "The rainbow could be at the other end of it."

(Lindz, try to stick to the original plot. :3 It's a nice idea, but the story is to find the end of the rainbow. Thanks! ^^)

(OMC I totally didn't realize this was today! I thought today was the sixth. :3)

Kaegan very playful and mischievous and enjoys, among all other things, cookies, playing tricks, and driving his sister crazy. He likes to bake too, but he has a tendency to burn everything. He's also a little afraid of really big fires (though he'd never admit it), but that doesn't stop him from being a pyro. He's very curious, and excited for this journey just for the adventure and the mystery of what's at the end of the rainbow.

River: "Welcome Kaegan", where on this adventure do we go to from here?" Anyone have an idea or which way to go, Straight or toward the river that may have glimpses of the rainbow.

[Horsie]

Diosca, who had been pretty quiet and well-behaved on most of the advernture so far (apart from pinching a few people with her pinchy-claw who weren't wearing green), shivered.
"It's d-dark in this cave, can't we go back outside? And it's cold as well."

[Marsh]

Arrietty smiled at Diosca and walked across the cold floor of the cave. "I know Disoca but.. we must wait for the others."

(OOC: Remember to stay by the plot guys. You can't see a rainbow inside a cave, so it makes no sense to go into it. I understand that puppies are very distractable creatures, but I think your average pup would think a pretty rainbow would be more fun to follow than going into a dark, scary cave.)

(I'm not the one who started it, I'm a bit confused as well ;e)

(OOC: One of the pups noticed a cave and suggested that we should explore it, Misty reminded us to stay by the plot, so the cave was acknowledged, but nobody needed to enter it. A few other pups who posted afterwards missed Misty's post and entered the cave though. Hence the confusion.)

(OOC: Yeah, please stick to the plot guys, if the pups go inside the cave the rainbow cannot be seen, and therefore it's not really sticking to the plot. I'd suggest the pups just ignore the cave please. :3

And Orieo, remember to only control your characters, you can reply to others' characters, but you can't control them. :3

I'll be deleting the posts that went out of plot, if you don't mind. ^^)

Misty, who had been chatting with the other snakes most of the time as she munched on her fourth cookie, did not notice the two pups that wandered off into the cave nearby. Patrick did, however, and quickly left to go get them. “Hey guys! You guys!” He called, ears perked forward as he sniffed around for them.

He spotted them at the entrance, exploring random nick knacks that were lying about, Patrick didn’t really like the look of the cave, it seemed a little scary to him. “Hey, you guys!” He whispered, looking around cautiously. “We have to go back! Come on.” He woofed, beckoning them back to the part in the woods were Misty, the snakes and the rest of the pups were.

George nodded to Sammy, “Yesss, we had better hurry!” He hissed, looking behind him to make sure the others hadn’t left without him. Suddenly he heard something scurrying inside the little hole. “Look! It may be sssomething furry!” He hissed again, grinning excitedly.

Leofric finished munching on his last cookie with a sharp snap of his jaws and licked the crumbs off his lips with relish. He was more than ready to get going again, and he saw that others had the same idea. He noticed Diosca and Arriety creeping around the entrance to a large hole that cut into the side of a hill near the river- a cave! A cave was excellent adventure, but you can’t see rainbows inside a dark cave.

“Don’t start a story before you have finished the first one,” Nerida always told him, so Leofric wanted to get to a place where they could see the rainbow. The forest was too thick to see anything above them except for the green canopy of trees and the looming clouds that hung far above them. Leofric shivered as a gust of cool wind blew past. I hope it doesn’t rain, he thought. Despite Shep and Patrick’s reassurances that the weather should remain pleasant, what clouds he could see through the gaps in the branches looked awful angry.

“Anyone have any idea where to go?” Leofric heard River say behind him, drawing his attention away from the clouds for a moment. “Straight? Or toward the river, where we can catch glimpses of the rainbow?” Leofric thought that was a good idea, and the river wasn’t too far away.

“Let’s go to the river!” Leofric barked, wagging his tail and bounding in the direction of the river, then back again. “We need to catch up with Arriety and Diosca!”
