St.Patrick's Day Event~ Gold Rush RPG

"Feather, waaaaaiiiiitttttt!" Diosca called after her. She dithered on the spot for a bit, deciding whether to run after Feather or walk with the others.
"Come on guys, lets all run and get there as fast as we can!" she barked, before setting off at a run.

[TLOSpyrogirl]

Blinking and removing his gaze from the sky, Shep opened his mouth to reply. Before he could though, Feather took off. Laughing, Shep said, "Then tell everyone to hurry up! I can't wait to see what's at the end of the rainbow!"

[Horsie]

Diosca ran, occasionally diving left or right to avoid trees, revelling in the feel of hte breeze ruffling her fur and whistling by her floppy ears. Looking up at the sky, she could still see the rainbow, altrhough it didn't look as bright as when she'd first seen it-
"OOF!" While she was looking up, Diosca hadn't noticed the large oak tree in front of her, and had collided head-first into it. Slightly dazed, her picked herself up, swaying slightly.
"I'm alright!" she barked, shaking ehr head to clear away the dizzy feeling before setting off again, a bit slower this time.

[Marsh]

Arrietty shouted back at the others to pick up the pace and ran after Diosca, Shep and Feather.

[Adah]

Feather continued to run, aware to the footsteps pounding the grass behind her.
She laughed, her voice lost in the wind.

[Lindz]

River went running towards Feather and said "Did we find it end of the rainbow yet, Feather." River goes chasing after the other pups with his question lingering the wind as he ran. Shep, Arrietty, Diosca were just a head of him.

River: "River jumped into the river. He swam across the river and jump up the bank of the river." The other have stopped at the river bank.

River looked up at the sky and noticed the rainbow not far from the where he was sitting. He looked around and asked "Shep and Eileen, If they see what he was looking at?" Though River was not going to say much but keep looking in a direction and was watching the sky with something started to fade in the sunlight.

Kaegan shook himself off from the water and took a quick look up at the sky. Was he crazy, or did the rainbow seem less bright? They just needed to get there faster, he decided, and took off running again--this time with the others and not behind them.

[Lindz]

River looked over to the right and saw Kaegan Running again. He got up and started running after Kaegan. "Kaegan, wait for me barked River." I am guessing you saw what I did he asked "Kaegan as he ran along side him."

[DarkTamara]

Kaegan looked back at River and tilted his head in confusion. "What do you mean? What did you see? Is there a fire?!" he yelped, whipping his head around to look behind him to find a very fire-less landscape. "Oh, good," he panted, all thoughts of what River had seen forgotten for the moment.

[Marsh]

"There is no fire Kaegan!" she shouted behind her

(OOC-Well here's my pup! I'll just try to jump in somehow. :'D It's Lynn.)


Lynn bounded through the lush forest, feeling the wind flow over his fur. "What a beautiful day..." he murmured to himself. As he skirted a patch of brambles, he suddenly caught sight of a few other pups, traveling through the trees just up ahead. He put on a burst of speed to catch up and almost barreled into Keagan. "Well hello there. What are you all off to in such a hurry? Oooh, can I come?!" he asked eagerly, hoping for some sort of adventure.

Lady Kotori is a laid back and caring pup. She is fascinated by nature; all the animals, flowers and wonders of it. She is quite reserved and is not good in situations which involve deep concentration, but is very determined to do her best. Her name means 'Lady Little Bird'. However, she likes to be called Lady.

"There is no fire Kaegan!" Arrietty's voice echoed through the forest.
Lady shot her head up, her ears too, after hearing this from the distance.
"Fire..? I wonder what everyone is doing?" She asked herself.
She noticed a faint rainbow in the pale blue sky and gasped.
"I remember!", she said with a big smile. "How could I forget? They are trying to find the end of the rainbow!"
She spotted a group of pups rushing towards what could have been the end of the rainbow.
"Wait for me, guys!" Lady shouted, bounding towards them.

(OOC: Are we going to make something interesting happen because we've been just running/walking for like 2 pages XD)

(OOC: Soon Horsie. One of you could always make something interesting happen as long as the goal is to continue finding the end of the rainbow. That's the fun of an RPG, a story that everyone contributes to. As I understand it, there are brownie points for those who contribute something creative. If you have any doubts if your idea would be ok, then just pm Misty about it before you post. I will be posting as soon as I get the chance.)

River: "Keagan, there was no fire. I think I am seeing someone sliding the the rainbow or glimpse as it fades." "Lady, where have you been of late in this pack." River goes on running and take one last look at the sky that look a bit angry. River see it the someone again and hurry off toward the fading rainbow.

[Horsie]

(OOC: I'm not sure what to do because I don't want to make them find the rainbow immediately or anything because it would take the fun out of the search XD)

Lynn looks up at the sky with a puzzled look. What are they looking at? he wondered. Then he suddenly spotted it. A faded band of a million colors stretching high across the blue sky.
"Oh my cookies, a rainbow! Guys, we should look for what's at the end of it." Lynn exclaimed as he trotted along with the others, not realizing that's what they have been doing all along.

[Horsie]

Diosca walked and walked until her puppy paws were tired.
"Hey guys, why don't we play a game while we're walking, to pass the time?" she suggested.

[Brownie]

"Me and Sammy love games!" Yipped Eileen. "Sssure do, that's true!" Replied Sam in a rhyme-ish fashion. Eileen giggled, "How about a race?" She said, wagging her tail. "Oh wait...Nevermind, I'll get way too tired! And definitely not hide and seek, that would make the time go by slower." Sammy slithered up on the top of Eileen's head. "How about tag?" She said. "Jussst as long asss we keep our direction to the rainbow." Eileen scratched her neck, for Sammy's tail was tickling her. "Why not?" She said in a play bow position.

[M&M]

Misty, quickly realizing that the others were moving on, yipped excitedly and hurried to catch up. They had all moved on towards the river, so Misty grabbed her sack—which still had Jack in it—and ran off to catch up. The river was small one, the Babble Brooke, they called it, as it constantly bubbled and spluttered and made sounds that always made her giggle. She jumped in as soon as she saw it, Patrick and the other pups nearby.

“Hey Misty, where’ve you been?!” Patrick called after her, laughing as he swatted at the water. The forest was clearer near the river, so seeing the rainbow’s beautiful colors was easy, which is why they had gone there in the first place.

“Got distracted eating cookies!” Misty replied, licking crumbs off her muzzle.

The snakes easily slithered through the water and across the bubbling river, eager to get moving, as where Feather, Shep, Arriety and Diosca. Jack plopped into the water with a confused hiss. “What’sss going on?” He asked, popping his head out of the water. He looked around, but saw no one.

The other pups, including Misty, had already moved on. Even more confused, Jack simply followed the sounds of their voices, which wasn’t that difficult, as Misty was barking, “Rainbow! Rainbow!” As they cut through the forest, which was growing thinner.

When Jack had finally got up, two new adventurers had joined the group. He bid a hello to Lynn and Lady, then slithered off to catch up with the other snakes. “Hey guysss, wait up!”

“Where were you Jack? Taking a nap?” Jeff said with a laugh.

Meanwhile, Patrick had been staring at the rainbow again, his forehead crinkled curiously. “Hey guys…is it just me, or is it fading?” He said, a hint of worry in his voice. He looked to the sun and saw it was late in the afternoon.

Misty looked up as well, “Is it? I do-OOF!” She grunted, falling backwards from the force of bumping into a puppy. “Oops, sorry Diosca!” She yipped giggling a little as she shook her head, she hadn’t heard her suggestion of a game, but most of the snakes were up for it.

“A game sssoundsss fun!” Betsy hissed.

“If the othersss want to, ssso do I.” Xavier said quietly.
