St.Patrick's Day Event~ Gold Rush RPG

[Brownie]

(OOC: Oh, and by the way Marsh, if you look at my post a few pages back Eileen asks the others if they could walk and talk so they wouldn't be wasting any time, and the pups of course said yes. It's important that we all pay attention to each others posts, to save confusion. Just a reminder. ;3)

"Irish who?" Eileen replied, giggling with the thought of what the joke might've been. She walked up a little closer to Kalivo with her tong hanging out on the side of her mouth and her left ear pricked up a little more than the other. Sammy, on the other hand, was now catching motion sickness with Eileen's little trot.

[Lindz]

River just keep going and soon started looking for clovers around the path. He looked head and stop short. "He barked for anyone to come and take look or if any of the pups heard a sound for he seem to have heard."

[Brownie]

Eileen's ears twitched. "Well, there are a lot of sounds I'm hearing at the moment. I'm hearing birds, panting puppies, the snakes hissing, us talking, and several more! No noise in particular, though." Said Eileen. She sniffed the air and made sure they weren't trespassing on anyone's area.

"You heard sssomething?" Said Sammy with a flicker of his tong. "What did you hear?"

[slumpylumpy]

"Did you hear something, River?" Lady asked, snout in all the clovers. "I just hear bird singing and the snakes hissssing! I've been concentrating on trying to spot four leaf clovers up until now." She said, looking slightly disappointed due to the fact she failed to find any.

[Horsie]

"What did you hear, River?" Diosca asked, cocking her head to see if she could hear anything. "All I hear is the snakes hissssssssing!"

[ElephantPup]

"Irish who a happy St. Patrick's Day!" said Kalivo, laughing slightly. He told his friends the joke at least three times yesterday, and it was beginning to lose its potency on him. His laughter subsided, but his face was still beaming as he padded along behind Misty and Patrick, pleased now that he told his joke. He fell silent, changing glances between the gold and glittering path beside him and the rainbow which looked too big to be so far away.

[Brownie]

Eileen fell over with laughter, not aware of the golden path or Sammy. "That's a good one!" she said in a state of giggling.

"Eileen!!" squeaked Sammy who was nearly thrown in the air.

"Oh...I'm so sorry Sam!" Eileen said with fright. She stopped laughing and let Sam crawl up her paw again.

"Next time be more careful." Hissed Sam as she curled around her waist, trying not to be too tight. Eileen continued to walk, staring at the rainbow that seemed to hug Lunaryk.

[Horsie]

"HAHAHA!" Diosca laughed, rolling over, "That's a really good one Kalivo!"

[Marsh]

"Nice one! I'm not a very good storyteller so I'll pass on telling one.."

(I'm away for the weekend so I might not post as often as I'd like!)

[slumpylumpy]

"Bwahahaha!" Lady giggled, rolling in the damp grass. "Nice joke, Kalivo!"

[M&M]

Misty laughed rather hard at the stories and jokes, even if they weren’t really meant to be funny, it was probably the excitement of going on an adventure that lightened her giggle spirits. Patrick, on the other hand, was abnormally serious, probably because he was the more observant of the two and kept hearing strange noises. He also felt the warmth of the red sun grow colder and colder with the coming night. When River mentioned a noise, he nodded.

“I hear it too, River. Maybe we should start heading back home?” He said, a little louder so that others could hear him.

Misty stopped giggling and looked at Patrick. “Puppy say what?!” She gasped, “We can’t stop now, we’re almost there! Look how close the rainbow is!” And with that, she pointed her nose in the direction of the rainbow. Patrick had to agree, the end did indeed seem close, but not close enough to beat the setting sun.

“It’s nearly dinner time; they’ll be worried, and I’m hungry.” Patrick said, followed by a low grumble from his belly.

“If only we had an adult with usss…then it would be like a camping trip.” Xavier hissed.

“You are a grown-up.” Misty giggled.

“I mean a wolf, I’m not exxxactly big, you know.” Xavier replied, blinking his beady eyes.

Patrick sat down with a soft thud on a little patch of clovers. “Then what do we do?”

[slumpylumpy]

Lady gasped. "We can't go back now! We've worked so hard to get there!" She cried, nervously patting the floor with her paws. "I still can't hear anything! Even if we don't get to the end, there has to be something out there!" She said sadly, slumping onto the grass.

[Lindz]

River looked over that Patrick and said "What about we two go and take a look and see if it someone or if it danger he asked Patrick." "The rest can rest a bit and then we could decide where it better to go home or keep moving on said River."

[Brownie]

"What in Lunaryk are you talking about?!" gasped Eileen. "I'm going to get to that rainbow no matter what it takes, as long as at least Sammy's here with me."

Sammy blushed. "It'sss more fun with everyone here, though." she hissed. "And if we don't at leassst try getting to the rainbow, forever I shall be a cluelesss sssnake once someone asksss, 'What is at the end of the rainbow?' we have to try until the sun goes down."

"Well then, let's hurry!" she said. And without waiting for the others, she started rracing to the end of the rainbow like she was chasing a deer, jumping over rocks and dodging trees.

"Eileen," Sammy shouted to her. "Don't go so fassst, you might trip! And who knows, it might be bessst going home, if me have to!" And with that Eileen slowed her pace down to a steady trot, and eventually just dropped to the ground hopelessly.

[Lindz]

River looked toward what Eileen had said and seen her running off. He barked to get her attention. "Eileen, wait for we need to find out if that sound is someone or if it dangers before we go on. I rather be safe and have all the pups be safe and then sorry and some get hurt he said to Eileen." "Sammy, please help bring her back, for she could get lost or hurt" said River. The sound that River heard "It may have been nothing to worry about but then again it might.' He did hear the sound once more and he could not determine where or what the sound was."

[Brownie]

Sammy heard River's bark and lightly slapped Eileen's paw with her tail. "Don't do that again, you could've gotten both of usss hurt!" She hissed, shivering with fright from the ride.

"Sorry..." Eileen said misserably. "What are we to do?"

"That'sss what we're trying to figure out right now." said Sammy as she slithered up to Eileen's back.

[Lindz]

River came over and thanks Sammy. "Thanks Sammy said River." "Why not we wait and see if we can get answer from Patrick or Misty." We can chill and relax a bit but let's hope that we get an answer soon.

[slumpylumpy]

"I hope we do make it before the rainbow fades.." Lady said sadly. "Let's just keep positive guys!" She yipped, swaying her red tail from side to side as she sat in a patch of green clovers.

[Brownie]

"I suppose that's all we can do, if we're still going to try getting to the rainbow." Eileen said, less gloomily. Then she got up and started to dance in little circles around the pups. "C'mon guys, we need to get to the rainbow quickly! It looks so close..." she yipped, sniffing the fresh spring air. She looked at all the pretty colors in the sky. Pink, orange, and red with a hint of purple.

"It doesss...It's colorsss look clearer." Sammy hissed, staring at the rainbow. His beady eyes sparkled in the light of the sun.

[Lindz]

River "Lady, did you know you just at down on some clovers and they may be a four leaf clover that your sitting on." River was just happy sit and wait for a response.

[Horsie]

"Nuh-uh. No WAY am I turning back now!" Diosca barked, shaking her head. "And I still can't hear that sound! Could someone describe what it sounds like?"

[Lizy]

(OCC: What did I miss guys, I am lost..)

[slumpylumpy]

(OOC: well, river heard a noise which not many of the pups are able to hear except Patrick, who advised we should turn back home. However, nobody wants to as they all want to keep going to the end of the rainbow as it seems closer now)

Lady gasped. "You're right River!" She stuck her nose in the clovers and let out a disappointed sigh. "Nope, no four leaf clovers. The rainbow does look close now though…" she said, looking off into the distance at the rainbow contrasting the pale blue sky.

[Lizy]

"Wait, Wait," Chewwy said, "What noise, can I hear it? I hear a lot you know, super fluffy ears yeahya"
Chewwy stopped and turned her ears in all directions.
We are ssssinging

We are on the end of the rainbow

Ans the smell is ssssso fake

Chewwy turned her head to the other pups, "What was that?"

"I'm sure I heard something then too! What was that?" Lady gasped, confused.

"Again! Who... or what is that?" Lady said, trembling.
