Misty n' Friends 8th Anniversary

Freshly fallen leaves crinkle beneath your shoes as you trail through the forest. It had been some time since you last visited Misty in Lunaryk. However, this day in particular calls for a special visit to Misty’s Hangout. This crisp autumn day marks the 8th anniversary of the Hangout; a momentous occasion. You walk on with purpose, a folded slip of paper in your hands. Inside it a handwritten note reads:
“Dear everybuddy,
Meet me (Misty) outside the forest, on the East side of the Grasslands about a mile from the Jamboree Oak Tree, just before you eat your dinner. Don’t worry, cookies will be provided.
Also Uncle Gryff told me how much a mile is so if you get confused you can ask him.
Misty and Meesh”
The forest has, by now, thinned out to open into a wide and open grassland, uncreatively called the “Grasslands” to the native Lunarkians. As you approach the designated meeting place, you hear in the distance the tell-tale sign of adventure. Small voices rise and fall in excitement. With each step forward the owners of the small voices make themselves known to be equally small creatures. A stone’s throw ahead you see a bright array of fur, scales and feathers.
Their figures bounce and skip in excitement upon seeing you. Liza is the first to greet you, and the first you recognize. You brace yourself as she dashes towards you, spots blurring from speed and leathery wings flapping excitedly, a flurry of fallen leaves swirling behind her.
“You’re here! Look—“ she snips at your sleeve and squeaks between her teeth “Gum ‘ee ahr ‘urpise!”
Following her—because you can’t really understand the hatchling, and so doing so is the only way to find out what she's talking about—she takes you to where the grass reaches higher than your shoulder. The thick shoots make a forest all their own, forming a green wall that separates you from the prairie ahead. A few steps further a scarecrow guards a pathway that cuts through the tall shoots, holding a hand-painted sign that reads “Corn Mayz” in messy painted lettering.
“Lucy made it fur ya.” Locke pipes in from behind you, beaming proudly at his friend as he scoots closer to the entrance.
You peer into the pathway that disappears into a sea of green, and back to the little grey fawn that flicks her tail sweetly at its grand entrance. She says nothing, but her wide smile reveals bits of grass between her buck teeth; a shameless reveal of her contribution to the grand project.
“Ok, ‘nuff talk,” Liza chirps, “Misty gave me a super important message to deliver, look-” Liza flaps to a brown bag, seemingly thrown at the feet of the scarecrow, and begins to search for the note. Her webbed ears press tightly against the back of her scaly, spotty head, and her tail slaps at the ground as she sniffs out the letter, during which time she throws out everything else that is in the bag; an apple, three sticks, a magnifying glass, several buttons.
“Maybe it’s-“ Bear says, but is interrupted by a button flinging off his beak.
“Found it!” Liza squeaks, unrolling a slip of paper. “Could you read it for us Bear?”
Bear’s ears stand up at the word “read”. He nods wisely, and spreads the slip of paper under his claws with a “her-hum” from his throat.
“Party time, party time!” Lucy says, crunching the leaves with her hooves in anticipation.

Bear is probably the one reading this, as Meesh and I are planning a party to celebrate MnF's 8th birthday! We have cookies, balloons, poppers, but we're missing the most important part - you!
Bear is probably the one reading this, as Meesh and I are planning a party to celebrate MnF's 8th birthday! We have cookies, balloons, poppers, but we're missing the most important part - you! Lucy has been working real hard all summer on a corn maze for you guys. The party is set up and the end of the maze, which...maybe wasn't such a good idea because I lost the map. XD But if you guys work as a team, I'm sure you guys can figure out where we are!
How to Play
This will be a simple "first-post" game. I will post on this thread your possible options, such as left, right, or straight ahead.
The first member to post their choice (i.e. "left") will lead the team!
Then, I will respond with the result of your choice. You may go to a new area of the maze with a set of choices, or hit a dead end!
If you hit a dead end, I will re-post the same options.
If you choose the right direction, I will post a new set of options, and the process continues until you guys make it to the party. >:3
As the game goes on, we might find some little surprises along the way!
How to win
Participants will earn points each time they post.
Bonus points will be awarded if you "lead the team" by being the first to respond!
At the end of the game, I will count up the points and determine the winner.

Hehe, I attempted the Inktober challenge a couple months ago, but as you can see it didn't quite work out. But here are the few sketches I was able to do! ^^
