Hey everybuddy! Misty here. I'm on a mission.

Misty n' Friends has just gotten back from its break as of October 2016, and as you can see we've had several events (on time, too!...mostly) so far. Me and Meesh and the rest of the MnF crew plan to continue hosting them throughout 2017 and beyond.
Of course, you probably have also noticed that MnF has been rather quiet. That's why I need your help!


To kick off a new year of MnF, we're going to welcome a group of new members to enjoy the site!
So, I'm asking you to promote the site and bring in your friends, family, or anyone you happen to discover who might be interested in adopting cute pets and contributing to a fun, friendly community. :3

How it Works
I'm inviting all my current members to invite about 5 or so people who may be interested. You are free to use the following images to promote the site;

There is a prize

For every person you invite, or for every time you promote the site in general (i.e. you post a stamp in your signature on another site) you will gain points.

- Each person you invite will give you 5 points.
- For each time you promote the site in general (i.e. in your sig, on your page, etc.) this is worth 2 points.

Message me the amount of points you have earned (please include some sort of proof, like a print screen or a link). Each point is worth a number in a raffle for this item;

It's maaaaagic. And super rare, so I will only raffle one.
What does it do? That will be revealed sometime in 2017. *mysterious music plays*

Anyway, once I have 10-15 new members signed up I'll close registration and raffle the Item to the Oldbie who earned the most points.

Newbies who join are welcome to participate in a Newbie New Year's Sale, located here (will link to it when I set it up, lol). This sale is for Newbies (5 pets or fewer) only!

Keep in Mind

★ The members you invite can be any age (under 13 however must have parental permission), but generally, 12-18 is the focus age group.

★ Please remember quality, not quantity! Make sure the person you are
inviting will enjoy the site, participate in the community and events and respect the rules, don't simply send
mass emails to get points.

★ Please only use the images provided to promote the site. You may also link to the website itself or share images of your own pets (provided you link back).

★ Make sure you're allowed to advertise wherever you are doing so. I don't want you to get in trouble for spamming or breaking any rules. ^^

★ Be honest. We're not going to advertise like a sales person, we're simply sharing with others something they might enjoy. Also be honest when sending me proof, please don't cheat to win the item, it won't work. xD

Is there no referral system when you sign up? I guess we could ask them to just post somewhere who referred them, if there's no clear way of telling. XD

As far as I know there is not, so yeah, I guess they can tell me who referred them.

Hmm, no advertising rule? Do you have friends on there? Maybe you could invite them personally, if that doesn't count as "advertising".
If you have friends or family irl who might be interested, you can invite them too. :3
