*wakes up suddenly* Oh, hey everyone! I, I guess that's my cue. *ehem*
It's been about a year since we started this whole ordeal, and a lot happened behind the scenes, but as Misty has announced up there (thanks, Misty), it's finally time for us to kick MnF back into gear and get out of our hiatus!
And what better time to do that than on Misty n' Friends 6th birthday?
★ Birthday Ballyhoo!
Happy Birthday MnF! In celebration of six awesome years of puppies and other cute critters, there are currently TWO adoption events going on, so if you're ready for a new pet, head on over to the new, revamped, shiny-
-----> Birthday Ballyhoo Sale (adopt a unicorn!)
-----> Legend of Locke (new species reveal!)
Speaking of new and shiny...
★ Revamp Reveal!
The last major update MnF experienced was in 2013, on MnF's 3rd birthday. The main adoptions migrated to a Weebly host, which you can still see here.
My aim was to make it fun, interactive, open to many more people, and manageable. I was in the middle of high school, and in 2013 I started a job as well, so whatever updates I made I wanted them to be easy to handle. Unfortunately, it didn't take long before I realized that this wasn't the case.
I also realized that the MnF on Weebly lost a very important characteristic: community. I have known a few of the MnF members since 2010, and though many have come and gone, it's the community that has kept MnF alive when I couldn't...or didn't.
Six years is a long time for a twelve-year-old kid. Being that kid I never expected MnF would last that long, but it's been a part of me throughout those years in middle and high school. I'm 19 now and starting my first year of college, I've got a job that I love and am committed to juggling that along with my studies. Truth be told I really want to have MnF a part of that too.
It's taught me a lot about responsibility, and most likely has taught my veteran members something of patience...or at least tolerance. You guys were under the command of a twelve-year-old. Haha. .3.''
I probably shouldn't ramble so much, so let me just list some of the changes and updates and shiny new features. ^^

- You can call me Meesh now, short for Michelle. Heather was a fake name to keep me safe. :3 (now you know what M&M stands for.)
- The weebly site will no longer be used. All adoptions, member participation, events, etc. will be hosted here.
- Shiny new pages! Check out the Homepage, Adoption Den, and Treehouse for starters, but feel free to explore!
- An official store for items! That's right, items can now be bought and kept in your own inventory at Kikii's Paw'n shop!
- Adoptions will be forum based, just as they were in 2011! I plan to release a pet once every month, but this may vary.
- Misty's blog has started up again! Posts will be roughly once a month, but again, this may vary.
- The forum has been cleaned up and simplified, hopefully encouraging an active, friendly community.
- New linearts and poses for the species will be discovered as I release pets.
- New backgrounds! MnF pets are now semi transparent and will not be certed, instead you will be given a code to share your pet on other sites.
- MnF is open to the public! Everyone is welcome to sign up and start adopting!
There's lots more to discover, and lots more to come! I will be continuing to fix up the little details and improve things, so feel free to leave feedback and comment on the changes and suggest improvements. ^^

A huge thanks to all those passed members now reading this for being so patient and loyal to this little hangout. I really hope MnF goes back to being what it was before; a fun little corner of the internet that encouraged friendship, cheerfulness, doing your bestest, and eating cookies.
