Today, I finally passed the human test.
I am not human.
Hiya, my name’s Misty. Totally not because I'm a mist elemental -that's a fancy human phrase for using magic to tame little drops of air-bound precipitation- I promise. My real name is actually Mistkr of Lunaryk, the "T" is silent because wacky English phonetics -any letter can be silent if the English says it is, psh- but anytime someone calls me Mistkr it either means I'm in trouble or I'm going to the Healers, and they feed us wolf pups funny plants. But I like them anyway.
You may be wondering why I'm writing to you, or perhaps your questioning how I got here, or maybe you're more curious as to how I can write at all.
...or you're just, you know, one of those "roll with the flow" types.
Well, truth be told I found Master's laptop. It was up in the tree-house, and I was following an ant for sometime, until I stumbled across the little black rectangle sandwich and, well, then I lost the ant.
I spent half an hour trying to get this thing to work with me—apparently the thing I thought was a volume control turns it on—finally I succeeded, and the computer screen glowed with life. I could feel the excitement in my paw digits as I entered the web (why's it called a web anyway?) and typed in Master's password. It was easy to find, as its usually stuck to a really repetitive song. The real challenge was posting this because, to do that, I had to pass The Test.
I've been trying to pass it for ages. For probably three months it's been my bane. Statistically speaking, probably only one in ten humans pass The Test on their first try.
They write the password in some kind of secret code or something, it's probably originated from ancient runics. Maybe after this I'll look up the Rosetta Stone and have the key to the web.
But anyway, if it wasn't me mixing up a squiggly "o" with a "0", then it was me thinking the "1" was a little "l"! But, though it took a couple dozen tries, I had a mission. I take my self-made missions quite seriously dear reader.
Anyway, eventually, as the Mission Impossible theme reached its climax I cracked the code!
And now I'm here, typing with my little paw digits.
Actually, they're kind of chunky.
Look, I illustrate;
So, now that I know how to get on here, you may be seeing this collection of geniously ordered squiggly marks-ehem, letters-more often. Because I can't help but find adventure in the little piece of the world I'm in, and I want to share it with you all!
Not to mention Liza dared me and I love cookies and humans are really fun-
Yip! I gotta go! Master is coming and if she finds out-well, I don't know, really. She would probably just laugh.
Signed,
I am not human.
