Happy Valentine's!Event: Valentine's Day 2017 Picture ContestHi there! Misty's here! So in some of my blog posts I talk about how I have a plushie form. I asked Meesh to take a picture on her phone for me so you can see. Lookie!  The great part about a plushie form is that you can walk around and no one will know there's a wolf pup living in your colleague's bedroom (Toy Story anyone?) So, Meesh and I have found the perfect Valentine's gift for you!  Codename: BlueRaspberry Slushie Adopt pets at Misty n' Friends!Meet Slushie, who is, as you can see, a plushie. :3 Plushie pups have been adopted before, but Meesh has been practicing her sewing skills, so we have new lines for you all! So as a happy valentines, because we luff you all, here's February's chance to adopt a new friend!
Slushie's Show and TellPicture ContestSlushie's looking for a little friend to spend Valentine's with! Maybe that's you? :3 There's just one thing though, since Slushie's a plushie, she would like to have another plushie friend to talk to while you are away (it gets lonely sometimes). Do you have a plushie? Then come join Slushie's show and tell! This totally has everything to do with Valentine's day.
How to PlayShare with us a picture, or a description, of a plushie that you own (or used to own) and love. If you've never owned a plushie before, that's ok to! You can participate by posting a picture of another childhood toy or favorite game.

Slushie loved meeting all of your plushies, but after much consideration, I've decided that the winner of the contest is TLOSpyrogirl! Her plushie's tea party looked like so much fun, and Slushie would love to join them. :3
And since I couldn't decide on a first place winner, I decided there could be a second place! Mana wins Dosco, a pound pet from 2012!
I'll be messaging TLOSpyrogirl the codes for her new pet, Slushie, and I'll also send Mana the codes for Dosco. Congrats!

Snuggles was given to me when I was 4. I had been sick for a while and my aunt and uncle gave him to me, even though my uncle was on probation and not allowed in a house with kids in it. That was really special to know that he loved me even though he couldn't see me much, and that he cared. I have slept with Snuggles every night, and he goes on every trip with me, he is my companion for when I feel down or lonely. His snowflakes should be white, but I haven't washed him in a bit, and even when I do, he's just old :S

She was a stuffed toy my mom's co workers gave me when I got out of the hospital and was recovering from surgery (I was six or seven years old. Surgeries are common for me so really no biggie) She went through several name changes before settling on my mom's name (spelling is different) and I carried her around everywhere even to school. I slept with her pretending she'd chase away anything that tried to scare me.

N/A Could you tell us a bit about it (i.e. what made it special?) Meet Lambkin, my polyester sheep puppet! I've had her since I was about...let's see...maybe 8, and by now she's become like another one of my OCs. xD She's gone through quite a bit of wear and tear, mainly because of her gallant efforts to provide my little nephews and niece with entertainment. She loves grass, anything that resembles grass, ponies, flowers, rainbows, sparkles, and overall anything that a 5-year-old sheepie such as herself likes. Lambkin has a dreadful fear of wolves (very ironic, I know) and sharp pointy objects (she was accidentally used as a pincushion once--no joke). :'3 BlueRaspberry Slushie is one of the only wolves that she isn't afraid of, besides Misty. XD

Pet's name: Razzle Picture of your plushie (bonus points if it was taken by you!): A tea party hosted by Hubert. The guest list: Hedgehog, The Wingless Dragon, Blastoise, Elephant & Monkey (I never named them before XD), and presided over by the Great Crystal Dragon. Could you tell us a bit about it (i.e. what made it special?) Hubert was a plushie given to me by my brother (I still have that memory, I think I was 3 or 4, it was very late at night when he came and handed me the bear, and told me his name), and he's always just kinda been around. He's special to me because, for a variety of reasons, my brother left my mom's custody when I was 5 or 6 years old, and I haven't really seen him since. So, it's the only keepsake I have from my brother. He was 10 years older than me so we weren't that close, but I still hold Hubert close to my heart. <3

Yep, this time I built it solid. Built up the walls so the water doesn't pour in, and the rock face sure look nice don't it?
My sweetheart, that's Madame Georgette you mind, had the idea for the flowers. Said something about making it

You don't have to rough it on a dirt floor anymore either. No siree, soft, genuine pine needles here. And no way is rain
getting in this time. That's some solid pine needle thatch work on that roof.
Welp, I sure hope a bonified wolf pup likes my little hut. You can stay the night if you have a mind to. Come on over any time!
The Missus would be thrilled I'm sure.

Wrinkles was just a stray mutt I found one day while exploring a huge second-hand store called Junkyard Junction. At least, that's the name I remember... It had something to do with junkyards, and it was awesome, because there was just about everything you could think of in that place. Right by the front door was a large shelf were you could find Beanie Babies, and that's were I met Wrinkles and a few of his friends. I had Wrinkles, and my sister had Bernie, and those two troublesome pups were the talk of Beanie Town. They had a flashy red car they bought from the Barbies, and they'd get into all sorts of mischief with the local royal cat family. Wrinkles had it pretty rough before he met Madame Georgette (his pink poodle sweet heart), with many a night camped out in the back yard. A dug-out hole with a lean-to roof his only shelter. Unfortunately, his shelter was never water proof, and there was many a morning I found him all muddy after a night of rain. I think if 7-year-old me had Slushie, she and Wrinkles would be great friends. He would be the most doting, grandfatherly bulldog ever. Of course, meeting a real wolf has been his dream since he was a pup, and it wouldn't take long for Wrinkles and Slushie to get a little messy, and maybe cause a little trouble for the royal cat family.

Wow, awesome. I didn't expect to win. Hey, maybe if you ever get big enough to sell MnF merchandise... Then Slushie/Razzle can join in the tea party for real! I would definitely buy plushies based on adoptables, even if such a thing is super duper far in the future. XD Congrats Mana. (I need to get a snack, Dosco is looking very appetizing... *drools* ...Don't tell him I said that.) And I loved everyone's entries, if I didn't say so already. XD |
